We are no longer offering drop in clinics. To access the service please telephone (0191) 569 9966 and you will be added to our assessment list. You will receive a call that day from one of our Sexual Health Team, who will assess you and offer advice and an appointment, if necessary, at a time to suit you.
If you are aged 16+ and live in Sunderland, and have no symptoms but would like a test for sexually transmitted infections, you can access on-line testing at: https://www.sunderlandsexualhealth.nhs.uk/services/chlamydia-testing.
We offer a number of outreach clinics and young persons outreach clinics (for those under 25 years of age). You can get advice on contraception and sexual health. You can also access screening if you have no symptoms.
If you have symptoms you can access screening at one of our clinics at Chester Lodge (Sunderland Royal Hospital).
